Through my work with people from various backgrounds, one of the commonly experienced challenges have been related to sex, sexuality, and gender. Many clients have shared how they have been hurt and alienated from others due to feelings of shame or fear of rejection. The motivation to write Slut! comes from a sincere belief that it is possible to be authentically yourself while still living a life that is full of joy and freedom from self-harming beliefs.
